About Us

Quilting Around has been serving the Weatherford, Texas, community since April 2012, offering a large selection of quilting fabrics and notions as well as quilting services.

Although Barbara (or as I affectionately call her, "Mom") has been quilting for over 25 years, it wasn’t until the down turn in the housing industry that I too developed an interest in the wonderful world of quilting.

Soon after, we purchased a computerized longarm quilting machine to streamline the quilt making process and manage the hefty amount of quilt tops we were churning out. We truly love helping our customers create their own unique quilts. With the variety of fabric colors and prints available today, each quilt is unique and it’s a real joy to be involved in such a creative process.

In addition to Northcott’s Stonehenge fabrics, we also carry Jinny Beyer's color palette, batiks, as well as Reproduction prints (1930's and Civil War) and a large selection of blenders and widebacks.

At Quilting Around, we pride ourselves in being a one-stop quilting shop, offering everything from high quality products and friendly customer service, helpful tips, assistance with fabric selection, and professional quilting services to help bring your creative ideas to life.
