Optional On Point Sampler Instructions

Please note that there is only a VERY LIMITED SUPPLY OF FABRIC as this Shimmer line has been discontinued, so we advise to purchase soon before we run out IF you want to increase the size of your Sampler BOM.

These instructions are for customers that purchase  sampler block of the months.

(These instructions will work on any colorway that is using a 12" Block)

This is just instructions on how to increase the size of 12 - 12” Sampler Blocks.

This will be set on point.

You will need the following:

2 1/4 yards of Background for Setting triangles and alternating blocks.

3/4 yard for 1st Border.

1 5/8th yard for 2nd Border.

 5/8th yard for Binding

From background fabric cut 2 - 12 1/2” strips, then sub-cut strips into 6 - 12 1/2”x12 1/2” squares.

Next cut 1 - 9 3/8” strip, then sub-cut into 2 - 9 3/8” x 9 3/8” squares. Cut each square diagonally once.  This will be the corner pieces.

Then cut 2 - 18 1/8” strips, sub-cut into 3 - 18 1/8”x 18 1/8” squares, sub-cut each square

diagonally  twice.  You will need 10 of the setting triangles.

1st Border fabric cut 8 - 2 1/2” strips.

2nd Border fabric cut 8 - 5 1/2” strips

Remember you will have to put your quilt together in diagonal rows, starting and ending with

Setting triangles.

When finished your quilt should be approx. 65”x82”
